Ann Hathaway, MD

Dr. Ann Hathaway has been practicing medicine since 1983 and studying functional medicine since 1995. She is an expert in bio-identical hormone therapy and often lectures on the topic. She is a member of The International Society of Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI) which seeks to develop physician expertise in the treatment of tick-borne and viral diseases, and toxicity arising from chemical, mold and heavy metal exposures.

Ann has been working with patients who have cognitive decline since 2014 when she first read Dr. Dale Bredesen’s paper, Reversal of cognitive decline: A novel therapeutic program. The crux of the protocol is to search for and correct all the underlying factors contributing to cognitive loss. Correction of root causes is the central principle of functional medicine. Ann finds that helping people regain clarity of mind requires dedication, patience, and persistence, and in her experience, these efforts with patients are extremely rewarding.
